Abstract

This talk reports some recent developments in mathematical computer aided assessment which involve computer algebra marking of students' work using the internet. Technical and educational issues raised by computer algebra marking are addressed.  Claims are justified with working examples in core calculus and algebra which have been set to first year university students.
