2nd Annual Science Council Mathematics Colloquium held at the Royal Statistical Society on 15 March 2004

The 2nd Annual Science Council Mathematics Colloquium was held at the Royal Statistical Society on 15 March 2004 and featured Professor Adrian Smith outlining details of his Inquiry into Post - 14 Mathematics. In addition to Professor Smith's presentation, there were Questions and Answer sessions, and Panel Discussions / Presentations on 'Multiple Pathways' and the 'National Network of Excellence for Mathematics Teaching'.

The organising committee are grateful to the generous support from the Engineering Technology Board who sponsored the day's activities, and for the contribution of The Advisory Committee on Mathematics Education and the Council of Mathematical Sciences (IMA; LMS; RSS) who assisted with the organisation of this event.
