Cre8ate Maths project
The Cre8ate Maths project was run by the Centre for Science Education and contains a wealth of ideas for maths across the curriculum. The programme of materials was developed by the Mathematics Education Centre at Sheffield Hallam University and has been enthusiastically received by teachers and advisers of mathematics across the country. All of the 57 units on the website are free to use.

Dr Maths
Steve Humble FIMA, aka DR Maths, is a member of the IMA's Schools and Further Education committee. His column Dr Maths is published by the Evening Chronicle, http://icnewcastle.icnetwork.co.uk/eveningchronicle, the main local newspaper in the North East, which has a circulation of around 55,000. The idea behind the column is to promote interest in Mathematics to the general public.

Millennium Mathematics Project
The Millennium Mathematics Project (MMP) is a maths education initiative for ages 5 to 19 and the general public, based at the University of Cambridge and active nationally and internationally. They aim to support maths education and promote the development of mathematical skills and understanding, particularly through enrichment activities.
To celebrate London 2012 the MMP are developing free online mathematical resources exploring maths and science through the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The National Association for Numeracy and Mathematics in Colleges (NANAMIC) was formed in 1993 as an association of further education, tertiary and sixth form colleges with the aim of assisting colleges nationally to developing quality in all aspects of their work in mathematics and numeracy.

UK Mathematics Trust
UKM Torganises the UK's biggest national maths competitions and prepares the UK's International Mathematical Olympiad Team. The UKMT Challenges are designed to stimulate interest in maths in large numbers of pupils in the form of multiple choice papers with lively and intriguing questions. There are three levels covering the age range 11-18 and together they attract almost half a million entries each year from over 4,000 schools.
