Date 22 March 2014
Location University of Leeds
The IMA Early Career Mathematicians’ 2014 Spring Conference will take place on Saturday 22nd March 2014 at the University of Leeds. The popular event is open to mathematics undergraduate and postgraduate students, mathematicians working in academia and industry, and really anybody at all who has an interest in maths! A mixture of engaging activities and presentations, these conferences provide the perfect opportunity to meet mathematicians from around the country with a variety of interests and backgrounds, and to discover what potential careers paths are open to mathematicians. In the afternoon, we will use an unconference method to put control of the programme in the hands of the participants. The early-career mathematicians conference always attracts interesting people and this is your chance to find the people you want to hear from and discuss things with and the topics you want to focus on.
