Applying for Membership and/or Chartered Designation

The Institute regrets that applications cannot be processed until the correct fees are received.

Applying for Chartered Mathematician designation and/or the Fellow or Member grades.
All applications for Member and Fellow must be accompanied with entrance fees.

Once approved, the annual subscriptions are requested. Applicants are registered, once the subscription is received.

Please note that Entrance Fees are non-refundable.

Applying for the Chartered Scientist designation.
An application must be submitted with the appropriate annual subscription fee of £25.00. This is a separate annual fee and is not covered by the Institute's current annual subscriptions.

Applying for the Chartered Mathematics Teacher designation.
All details regarding Chartered Mathematics Teacher can be found at www.cmathteach.org.uk

Applying for Associate Member, Student or Affiliate grades.
Annual subscription payment should be supplied with application, no entrance fee required.

The Annual Subscription is refundable should your application to join be unsuccessful.

Payment Methods

Note: For applicants registered between January and September, the annual subscription is only valid until the end of the year of application. For applicants registered between October and December the annual subscription is valid until the end of the following year.

For new registrations or rejoins registered before 1 October, annual subscriptions are only valid until the end of the year.

Example
P Jones registers on 10 September 2012 their annual subscription will become due again in January 2013.

For new Registrants or rejoins registered on or after 1 October, annual subscriptions are valid until the end of the following year.

Example
R Smith registers on 4 October 2012, their annual subscription will not become due until January 2014.
