*A reduced rate of annual subscription is available on request to retired members who have reached the age of 60, have been members for at least 10 years and are fully retired.
There is also a grade of membership called Associate Fellow but this is closed to further admissions. The Annual Subscription for Associate Fellows is £84.00 (retired rate £36.00).
There are no reduced rates of annual subscription for the Chartered Mathematician rate however following the new grade structure, implemented in Jan 2003, the Chartered Mathematician designation is now optional and you may opt to resign from Chartered Mathematician, and therefore not pay the addition £22.00, but remain as a Member or Fellow of the Institute.
Payment Methods
Note: For applicants registered between January and September, the annual subscription is only valid until the end of the year of application. For applicants registered between October and December the annual subscription is valid until the end of the following year.
For new registrations or rejoins registered before 1 October, annual subscriptions are only valid until the end of the year.
Example
P Jones registers on 10 September 2013 their annual subscription will become due again in January 2014.
For new Registrants or rejoins registered on or after 1 October, annual subscriptions are valid until the end of the following year.
Example
R Smith registers on 4 October 2013, their annual subscription will not become due until January 2015.
