Rejoining Membership and/or Chartered Designations
The Institute regrets that applications cannot be processed until the correct fees are received.

If you were previously a member of the Institute but have let your membership lapse you may apply for reinstatement.
Applying to rejoining at your previous Membership grade - Fellow, Member, Associate Member, Student or Affiliate.
Applications to rejoin at previous grade of membership can be processed without requiring assessment. Applications must include the current Annual Subscription plus for Member and Fellow only £10.00 Rejoin Fee.

Members may rejoin and apply to transfer to a higher grade, please contact the Membership department for details.
Applying to rejoin the Chartered Mathematician and/or Chartered Scientist designations.
Applications to rejoin the Chartered designations must be accompanied with the £10.00* rejoin fee. Once approved, the annual subscriptions are requested. Applicants are registered, once the subscription is received.
*If Applicant applies to rejoin Chartered Mathematician and Chartered Scientist simultaneously only one entrance fee is required.
Applying to rejoin the Chartered Mathematics Teacher designation.

Note: For applicants registered between January and September, the annual subscription is only valid until the end of the year of application. For applicants registered between October and December the annual subscription is valid until the end of the following year.
For new registrations or rejoins registered before 1 October, annual subscriptions are only valid until the end of the year.
Example
P Jones registers on 10 September 2012 their annual subscription will become due again in January 2013.
For new Registrants or rejoins registered on or after 1 October, annual subscriptions are valid until the end of the following year.
Example
R Smith registers on 4 October 2012, their annual subscription will not become due until January 2014.
