The European Mathematical Society has created a popular mathematical website. It provides information and help for everyone interested in mathematics.

The website was created by the Raising Public Awareness committee of the EMS and was launched in the fall of 2010.

Visitors to www.mathematics-in-europe.eu can find articles concerning various aspects of the field of mathematics: the landscape of mathematics, research, philosophy, history, mathematical professions and so on.

The site is multi-lingual, and the essential features can be read in most of the European languages.
