European Mathematical Society

The European Mathematical Society has 2,000 members who subscribe through national societies. The purpose of the Society is to further the development of all aspects of mathematics in the countries of Europe.

A newsletter is sent out four times a year. It contains information about the Society, announcements of conferences, book reviews, a problem corner and articles of general interest.

The Institute of Mathematics is a corporate ("full") member of the Society. Members of the Institute are entitled to become individual members of the European Mathematical Society. To join for the year 2013 please complete the form below and return it to the Institute by 31 May 2013, together with a payment of £25.00.
